Rarest most dangerous night animal?

Okay My grandpa(RIP PAPA) and uncle kelly were just driving around talking you know father son talk, well my uncle was telling us last night how they seen this weird horrifying thing and it looked like a dog type animal deformed thing and my uncle said that my grandpa (youd have to know that he was like a genius and if he didnt know hed have to research it) any who my grandpa went online and looked it up, he said that it was a animal recently found that they were researching and it was a animal that has been forming for millions of years and it was the fastest,rarest, most dangerous animal in the world and only came out at night. only my uncle couldnt remember the name of it, would you know what it is, ps sorry its sooo long and thank you for helping

Was it a Chupacabra?

A Chubacabra is a hairless, dog-like creature. Kind of big like the size of a small bear. They are said to attack livestock and drain the animal completely of it's blood. They are known to scientists as contemprary legends, but they 'exist' from Maine to Chile.

I personally believe they could exist, because of all the attacks and sightings. And also the world only knows of about 30% of the animals that live around us. Maybe that was what your relatives saw.
