July video game retail sales inch 1 percent lower
Market researcher NPD Group says U.S. retail sales of video game hardware, software and accessories inched down 1 percent to $846.5 in July compared with the same month a year ago.

Canadian toy maker Mega Brands Inc reported a return to profit on Wednesday, helped by sales growth in the boys' category that was led by toys based on the video game Halo and the film "Iron Man 2". The maker of Mega Bloks posted net earnings of $1.2 million, or nil cents a share, for the period that ended June 30.
