This toy is well made, works great with my daughter's kitchen, and I love that it is made from recycled materials.

My daughter got this as a gift, and my son got the Recycling Truck. They love them both and fight over them constantly. I think it's fun for them to use their imagination to "cook". My sister-in-law wanted something make in the United States. She also is an eco-friendly person, and my kids aged 2 and 4 actually take our recycling items out to the garage to put in the "cycle" box. I'm happy with the items and look forward to other items on the line. I was happy to see that the box was recyclable and that it took seconds to get it out of the box.

I'm a firm believe in GT's products. They are classic, fun, and teach environmental stewardship at a young age. I highly recommend! At my house, they are a huge hit.
IT'S THE CONVERSATION THAT THESE TOYS SPARK THAT I LOVE ...

So my kids enjoy sliced up oranges and cheerios and grapes and water with these toys and they go to town, right?

Right. All is well.

But it's the conversation that these toys spark that I love. These products are made of recycled milk jugs. Recycled. Oh, they love that word but they're never really sure what it means. Quite an entre to the whole discussion. And then, in the end, when they go to college, these toys are compostable. Compostable. Again, they love that word but how in the world does it relate to anything but cantelope rinds and weeds? An entre again to the whole discussion about how companies can be environmentally responsible. These toys leave a zero footprint on our earth. I see it in their faces ... they get it. Mission accomplished.

This company, Green Toys, offers an array of toys made of everything compostable. Even the packaging (completely compostable) is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I am giving these toys to all of my little nieces and nephews for the holidays!
